Hey guys! I’m Autumn Smith from Galesburg, IL. I’m a HUGE Sublime fan and I do alot of art work so I was psyched to see you guys post this contest! I love Badfish and Scotty Don’t and love everything you guys do, thanks for keeping the Sublime sound alive! You’re playing at POP’s on my birthday in February so I’ll see ya guys again then, hope you like this:)
This is AMAZING!!! You are so talented and you can tell you put a lot of thought into all of the detail and meanings related to sublime. I see the scull and cross bones for “Pawn shop”, pool balls in the sand for “Pool Shark”, and the bottle for “40 oz. to Freedom”. Also very subliminal to some of their songs, the bad fish smoking two joints, the garden grove sign, the ball and chain, the scarlet begonias, and the “Seed” tree. And i am in love with the little roach on the tree for “Let’s Go Get Stoned”. It’s similar to the coy fish Sublime often used but i think it’s a whole new kind of “badfish” that is creative especially for the band. The smoke coming out saying “A tribute to” is real cool too. As a huge Sublime/ Badfish/ Scotty Don’t fan, I can appreciate this drawing! Sorry so long, but i love it!
yo, it was a great idea for you guys to get this contest going, but the only problem is that all it takes is one of these contestants to tell all their friends to vote for their logo. i think that you boys from scotty don’t need to be the ones to choose the best logo. As you can see, this girl drew this picture herself and didnt use any of that photo shop shit. dont get me wrong, alot of those computer art logos are awsome, but the time and dedication of their art doesnt compare to the hard work that this chick must have put into this picture. win or lose, you guys know damn well that this pic is way too sick to just be dismissed because some face book losers put there status as “EVERYONE VOTE FOR MY BADFISH LOGO PIC” and will inevitably get a shit ton of votes. Pat, Joel, and Scott, when if you pick a winner just ask yourself one question…..What Would Henry Winkler Do? (WWHWD)
