Ummm…about me…I fuckin love Sublime, and as a result, I fuckin love Badfish. I did this piece about a year ago as a tribute to Sublime when I was having a real rough time in life – Sublime has always pulled me through it, and for that I owe them everything. I think it would look pretty badass on your logo, but I may be biased. My art is at www.laurinfamous.com and I live in San Francisco. My favorite Sublime song would be all of them, but my absolute favorite would have to be Badfish, New Song, Get Out, Santeria, Crazy Fool, New Realization….ok so, we’ll go with all of them. Peace.

    @Matt its because I also uploaded the original sketch to sketch to my flickr a year or two ago before i colored it. flickr sends it to google images as well so thats how you saw it. this is the original sketch youre thinking of on my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/shakedown22/3288734257/ and was also done by me, and still lives happily in my old sketchbook. lol

    Yeah pal, and that’s exactly how Bad Fish found it too, and why their representative personally asked her to submit the picture. How many of the other people can say that?

    Perhaps you are unfamiliar with Ice Cube and the West Side Connection. But if I may be allowed to quote genius…. “Bow down.”

    Tell your friends to put in work, and perhaps, if they are lucky, someday, they will be as good as Lauren. But as it stands, they couldn’t even hold a candle to her even if the wax was formed to their hands, ya dig?

    I remember you doing this in Illustration. And quite honestly (I looked through all of them), yours really is the best here. The text is well integrated and it is totally tripped out. What better way to say anything about Sublime than with a joint (the fish is pretty self explanatory). The colors are PERFECT and the line work is wonderful, as always. You kick ass girl!
